The Tait Marketing & Distribution Co., Ltd. was established by a British businessman in 1845. From the early export of sugar and tea over 170 years ago to the import and export of consumer goods for daily living today, the Company plays an important role as a trading agency and is one of the oldest trading companies in Taiwan.
In mid-2008, The Tait Marketing & Distribution was taken over by Uni-President Enterprise and became a listed company engaging in fast-moving consumer goods among trading agencies in the Uni-President Group. It is also a company with product development, brand management and market sales capabilities. In addition to its house brands such as Kaisi Oolong Tea, TAIT TEA, Uni Dessert and NIJIYA, Tait also imports and sells well-known food and beverage brands from other countries. The US Starbucks bottled coffee, Japan's Morinaga ice cream products, and Sweden’s OATLY are one of the many examples.
